With high roofs, plenty of wooden beams and made from local stone, Val Monte has a warm, authentic Alpine feel. The living room has an open fire and comfortable sofas for aprés-ski drinks and the split-level dining room/living area benefits from the stunning view of the lake. The chalet has a large balcony, a garage/ski room and is run and catered for by our experienced staff.

Access to the lifts couldn’t be simpler. If the five-minute walk down the hill wasn’t easy enough, 2011 sees the introduction of an elevator-style lift that will save your legs even that!

Description:

The chalet is arranged over four floors. All bedrooms are twin/double rooms with a mixture of bathroom facilities. There is a very spacious split-level lounge/kitchen/dining area with huge picture windows for a perfect alpine ambiance. Leading out from the lounge area is a large south-facing balcony for sunbathing or just taking in that amazing view. The sleeping areas are on the top two floors and the bottom floor with the living areas between the two.

The chalet sleeps up to 14 people with a facility to take a further 8 people in a close-by apartment with meals taken in the main chalet making a total of 22 people if both sets of accommodation are used. If you have more than 14 in your group this option can be discussed on booking.

Your Stay:

During your stay you will be looked after by your personal chalet hosts who will cook meals, clean the accommodation and ensure you have an enjoyable stay. We provide our guests with a delicious three-course evening meal with wine served on six nights and a hearty continental breakfast with a hot option every day. As a guest you will also benefit from all the advantages of discounted ski and snowboard hire and a reduction in lift pass prices.

Afternoon tea is served in the Chalet from 4.45pm for hot drinks and freshly made cake. If you feel like settling into some aprés ski, the local bars are only a short walk away, where you will also find some fantastic local restaurants, serving traditional Savoyard delicacies, which you may wish to sample on chalet night off.

Room 2 - twin/double room accessed via room 1 making these two rooms perfect for a family with adjacent shower room shared with room 1

Room 4 - twin/double room on split level between rooms 1 and 3 with shower room shared with room 3

Room 5 - twin/double room with adjacent shower room shared with room 6

Room 6 - twin/double room with adjacent shower room shared with room 5

Room 7 - twin/double room with en suite bathroom
