Chalet Iris

We all had a fantastic time and Alex and Katie surpassed themselves ( as usual I would guess!) The chalet is lovely and the skiing was superb. In all probably the best week yet.

fter spending last week recovering and wishing that I was still in the Alps, I thought that it was about time to say a massive thank you from all of us.

Your help organizing the trip was fantastic and although we had a few issues with numbers, I really appreciated your understanding.

I also need to mention Alex and Katy, we all agreed that they were best chalet hosts any of us had ever had.

Not only was the food excellent and the chalet was always immaculate, they were also good fun and always had time to help.

From its position on the edge of the woods, Chalet Iris will offer you a wonderful experience, whether you're sitting in the cosy lounge complete with roaring log fire, LCD TV, DVD, iPod dock and Wii. You can also enjoying the delights on offer in the village of La Plagne 1800, which is right on your doorstep.

You will also be treated to some great food, served by our experienced chef and host. The chalet sleeps 16 persons in 8 en-suite rooms.

Chalet Staff

Your chalet staff, Alex and Katie, will look after you expertly. Alex has been a host for six years and with us for three years, so he knows exactly how to make sure you have a fantastic chalet holiday. He also loves to prepare wonderful food for hungry guests!

Please note that even our chalet staff need one night off. Therefore on a Wednesday evening, we would be happy to book a restaurant for you if required. Breakfast and afternoon tea are served as usual.

Location

Although Chalet Iris sits on the edge of the woods with spectacular views over the Tarentaise Valley, it is also part of the village of La Plagne 1800, which has all the amenities and entertainment you could need. The pistes of La Plagne and the Paridiski winter sports area are just a short hop away.

Ground Floor

One double bedroom with en-suite shower, WC and basin. Three twin/double bedrooms with en-suite shower, WC and basin

First Floor

Entrance hall/boot storage area - with heated ski boot dryer and plenty of room for all your kit.

Lounge area - large lounge with fireplace and large LCD TV, DVD, iPod dock and Wii game station.

Dining/kitchen area - complete with tea and coffee making facilities so you can help yourself at any time. Both the lounge and dining area open on to a small terrace.

Second Floor

Two twin/double rooms with en-suite showers. Two twin/double bedrooms with en-suite bath, wc and basin.

Client Service

We benefit from a highly professional in-resort team with many returning for their second, third or fourth season. Everyone we employ is carefully selected for their abilities in accordance with the companies high standards. Our staff's personal and dedicated service reflects the fact that we are a small, independent, family-run company.

We know that our staff are integral to what we do. Each of our chalets has a dedicated team of manager, professionally-trained chef, hostess, driver and assistant, the majority of whom have worked in the hospitality industry prior to joining us.

Our managers play a vital role in ensuring that your holiday lives up to the high standards that we have put in place over the last seven years. They will deliver your lift passes, visit you at your chalet every evening as well as make restaurant and massage bookings etc.

Our chefs are all professionally-trained and able to adapt to any special dietary requirements including that of children. Our hostesses are there to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
